Additional points will be credited to the Membership Rewards account 10-12 weeks after final payment is made.

To be eligible for the 3X Membership Rewards® points, any changes to an existing reservation must be made through the same method as your original booking. Cancellations are subject to hotel cancellation penalty policies. If hotel reservations are made or modified directly with the hotel provider, the reservation will not be eligible for this 3X Membership Rewards® point benefit. To be eligible to receive extra points, Card Account(s) must not be cancelled or past due at the time of extra points fulfillment. If a booking is cancelled, the extra points will be deducted from the Membership Rewards account. Bonuses you may receive with your Card on other purchase categories or in connection with promotions or offers from American Express may not be combined with this benefit.
Merchants are assigned codes based on what they primarily sell. We group certain merchant codes into categories that are eligible for additional points. A purchase with a merchant will not earn additional points if the merchant’s code is not included in an additional points category. You may not receive additional points if we receive inaccurate information or are otherwise unable to identify your purchase as eligible for an additional points category. For example, you may not receive additional points when: a merchant uses a third-party to sell their products or services; or a merchant uses a third-party to process or submit your transaction to us (e.g., using mobile or wireless card readers); or you choose to make a purchase using a third-party payment account or make a purchase using a mobile or digital wallet.

Short Term Rental Bookings with Airbnb
Airbnb Luxe and other Airbnb property bookings must be made with Airbnb through AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™ (“Airbnb Booking”). Airbnb Bookings must be prepaid in full by a Card Member (including an Additional Card Member) with their U.S. Consumer or Business Card and that Card Member must be staying at the booked property. If any issues arise when attempting to use an American Express Card to pay for an Airbnb Booking (including additional fees or charges resulting from modifying an Airbnb Booking), or if a Card Member does not receive an Airbnb Booking confirmation for a Request to Book property (including a host decline or failure by host to confirm a Request to Book), Card Members should call the number on the back of the Card for assistance before taking any further steps to complete an initial or additional booking, or modify existing bookings, as applicable. Failure to do so may affect eligibility for applicable American Express Card benefits. If an Airbnb Booking is hosted at or affiliated with a hotel, Card Members may not receive hotel loyalty program benefits, elite status recognition or other related hotel benefits. Card Members may not be able to apply credits, one-off promotional codes, coupons, gift cards, or similar discounts, including one-off discounts provided by Airbnb hosts, to an Airbnb Booking. Airbnb Bookings are subject to applicable Airbnb and host terms, conditions and policies (“Airbnb Terms”), available at https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/2908, including but not limited to security deposit requirements, minimum lengths of stay and booking modification, cancellation and refund policies. Airbnb hosts may charge additional fees in connection with an Airbnb Booking for the use of certain optional services; Card Members should review the property description and/or contact the host for more information. The maximum length of stay of an Airbnb Booking is 27 consecutive nights. Select Airbnb properties are available through AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™ and the availability of Airbnb properties is subject to change. Hosts may require Card Members to complete additional steps after booking, such as signing a rental agreement or other steps described in a property listing.
Airbnb – and not American Express – manages the relationship with each host and is responsible for managing Airbnb Bookings with the host. Any communications, modifications, cancellations, complaints or other issues related to an Airbnb Booking must be made through Airbnb and not through AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™. The Card Member and their guests must use the property only for lawful purposes and the purposes for which the booking was made, and at all times in accordance with all applicable Airbnb Terms. American Express is not liable for the acts or omissions of Airbnb or hosts, or third parties acting for or on behalf of Airbnb or hosts. For Airbnb Bookings, Airbnb – and not American Express – operates as the short-term, hosting, vacation rental or similar booking service or platform. American Express does not collect taxes or remit taxes to applicable tax authorities.
Card Members must link their American Express online account to an Airbnb account before completing an Airbnb Booking. The Airbnb account must be in the same name as the Card Member associated with the linked American Express online account. Only one Airbnb account may be linked at a time to one American Express online account. By linking an Airbnb account, you understand and agree that Airbnb will share applicable account and reservation information with American Express to support your booking experience and eligible benefits. American Express may also share information with Airbnb as necessary to administer Airbnb Bookings. After linking an Airbnb account, you will be able to view Airbnb Bookings from your American Express online account. To disconnect an Airbnb account, go to your Airbnb Profile > Privacy > Connected Services. If you disconnect or delete your linked Airbnb account, you must link your Airbnb account prior to making additional Airbnb Bookings. However, you will still be able to view information related to existing Airbnb Bookings. American Express may change or discontinue the ability to link an Airbnb account or modify the Airbnb information displayed in your American Express online account, at any time in our discretion.
For additional information, Card Members can call the number on the back of their Card.
$250 Airbnb Experiences Credit
Basic Card Members on U.S. Consumer Platinum Card® or U.S. Business Platinum Card® Accounts who make a prepaid Airbnb Luxe booking with Airbnb through AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™ can earn up to $250 in statement credits after they or any Additional Card Members on the Card Account use their Card to make eligible Airbnb Experiences purchases. However, the total amount of statement credits for eligible Airbnb Experiences purchases will not exceed $250 per calendar year per Card Account.
The Basic Card Member or any Additional Card Member on the Card Account must first use their eligible Card to make one prepaid Airbnb Luxe booking with Airbnb through AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™. Once their Airbnb Luxe booking is confirmed, they will unlock the $250 Airbnb Experiences Credit starting from the day their booking request was submitted through the end of that calendar year. If the eligible Card Member submits a booking request that is confirmed in the following calendar year, the $250 Airbnb Experiences Credit will be unlocked through the end of that year. To complete an Airbnb Luxe booking with Airbnb through AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™, the eligible Card Member must have an Airbnb account linked to their American Express online account. After making an Airbnb Luxe booking, Basic Card Members can confirm that the $250 Airbnb Experiences Credit benefit has been unlocked by logging into their American Express online account and checking the Benefits section, receiving a confirmation email from American Express sent to the email associated with their eligible Card Account, or calling the number on the back of their Card. After an Airbnb Luxe booking has been requested, the Airbnb host has 24 hours to accept or decline the request. If the host declines the request or doesn't respond within 24 hours, the booking status will be updated as "Declined" or "Expired," and the $250 Airbnb Experiences Credit benefit will remain locked. If the booking is confirmed, please call the number on the back of the Card if the benefit has not been unlocked 72 hours after the Airbnb Luxe booking confirmation.
After the benefit is unlocked on the Card Account, to receive the statement credits, by December 31st of the same calendar year as the Airbnb Luxe booking confirmation, the Basic Card Member or any Additional Card Member on the Card Account must make eligible Airbnb Experience purchases, which include only Airbnb Experiences sold directly by Airbnb at www.airbnb.com/experiences or through the Experiences tab within the Airbnb app. Other purchases from Airbnb are not eligible. Certain Experience bookings direct you from Airbnb to a third-party partner platform to make the purchase (for example, live event tickets) and are not eligible.
At least one qualifying Airbnb Luxe booking must be made with an eligible Card and confirmed by Airbnb by December 31st and the booking must not be cancelled for the benefit to remain unlocked on that Card Account for that calendar year. Statement credits may not be received or may be reversed if the qualifying Airbnb Luxe booking is cancelled at any time for any reason. If multiple qualifying Airbnb Luxe bookings are confirmed in the same calendar year, at least one qualifying Airbnb Luxe booking must not be cancelled to keep the benefit unlocked and the Card Account eligible to earn up to $250 in statement credits for eligible Airbnb Experiences purchases made through December 31st of the same calendar year as the Airbnb Luxe booking confirmation.
If all qualifying Airbnb Luxe bookings are cancelled for any reason, the benefit will no longer be considered unlocked and any statement credits previously received may be reversed. To unlock the benefit again in the same calendar year, the eligible Card Member must make another prepaid Airbnb Luxe booking with Airbnb through AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™ which is confirmed by Airbnb by December 31st of that year. Any Airbnb Experiences purchases made prior to the benefit regaining unlocked status will not be eligible for statement credits. Once an eligible Card Account is confirmed to have unlocked the benefit again, a new, eligible Airbnb Experience must be purchased and charged to the same Card Account to receive any statement credits in that calendar year, up to $250 per calendar year per Card Account. If an eligible Card Member transfers to a different Card, they will lose access to the benefit that was unlocked on their former Card.
Please allow up to 8 weeks after an eligible purchase is charged to the Card Account for statement credit(s) to be posted to the Account. Please call the number on the back of the Card if statement credits have not posted after 8 weeks from the date an eligible purchase is charged to the Card Account. American Express relies on the merchant’s processing of transactions to determine the transaction date. If there is a delay in the merchant submitting the transaction to us or if the merchant uses another date as the transaction date, then the purchase may not earn the statement credit benefit for the benefit period in which the Card Member made the purchase. For example, if an Airbnb Experiences purchase is made on December 31st, but the merchant processes the transaction such that it is identified to us as occurring on January 1st, the purchase will not be eligible for the prior year’s statement credit. If the Card Member has transferred to a different Card at the time the merchant submits the transaction, they may not receive the statement credit. Statement credit(s) may not be received or may be reversed if all qualifying Airbnb Luxe bookings or eligible Airbnb Experiences purchases are refunded, cancelled, or modified for any reason.
American Express also relies on information provided to us by the merchant to identify eligible purchases. If American Express does not receive information that identifies the transaction as eligible for this benefit, the Basic Card Member will not receive the statement credit. Basic Card Members may not receive the statement credit if we receive inaccurate information or are otherwise unable to identify the purchase as eligible, if a transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party (such as an app store), or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it. For example, an Airbnb Experiences purchase will not be eligible if (i) the qualifying Airbnb Luxe booking is never confirmed (ii) it is made in a different calendar year from the confirmation of the qualifying Airbnb Luxe booking, (iii) it is made after the qualifying Airbnb Luxe booking has been cancelled (if no other qualifying Airbnb Luxe booking is maintained), (iv) it is purchased anywhere other than directly through Airbnb.com or the Airbnb app, or (v) it is charged to an ineligible Card Account. Available Airbnb Experiences are subject to change, and Airbnb availability is not controlled by American Express. All use of Airbnb’s website and purchases from Airbnb are subject to Airbnb’s Terms of Service at www.airbnb.com/help/article/2908, which are subject to change and American Express has no control over those changes.
If the Card Account is cancelled or past due at the time of statement credit fulfillment, it may not qualify to receive a statement credit. If American Express, in its sole discretion, determines that a Card Member has engaged in or intend to engage in any manner of abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this benefit, American Express will not have an obligation to provide statement credits and may reverse any statement credits provided to them. If a charge for an eligible purchase is included in a Pay Over Time balance on the Card Account, the statement credit associated with that charge may not be applied to that Pay Over Time balance. Instead, the statement credit may be applied to their Pay In Full balance. For additional information, Card Members may call the number on the back of their eligible Card.
5X Membership Rewards® Points for Platinum Card

Eligible prepaid vacation rental bookings that are modified directly with the vacation rental management company will not be eligible for Additional Points.
Bonuses that may be received with your Card on other purchase categories or in connection with promotions or offers from American Express cannot be combined with this benefit. Any portion of a charge that the Basic Card Member elects to cover through redemption of Membership Rewards points is not eligible to receive points. Additional terms and restrictions apply.
Merchants are assigned codes based on what they primarily sell. We group certain merchant codes into categories that are eligible for Additional Points. A purchase with a merchant will not earn Additional Points if the merchant’s code is not included in an Additional Points category. Basic Card Members may not receive Additional Points if we receive inaccurate information or are otherwise unable to identify your purchase as eligible for an Additional Points category. For example, you may not receive Additional Points when: a merchant uses a third-party to sell their products or services, a merchant uses a third-party to process or submit your transaction to us (e.g., using mobile or wireless card readers), or you choose to make a purchase using a third-party payment account or make a purchase using a mobile or digital wallet.
To be eligible for this benefit, the Card Account must not be cancelled. If American Express, in its sole discretion, determines that you have engaged in or intend to engage in any manner of abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this benefit in any way American Express may remove access to this benefit from the Account. For additional information, call the number on the back of your Card or visit americanexpress.com/rewards-info for more information about rewards.

Lowest Hotel Rates Guarantee
Valid only for American Express Card Members. If you book a qualifying hotel rate on amextravel.com or the Amex Travel App™ and then find the same room, in the same hotel, for the same dates, the same number of children and adults, the same rate type and, the same cancellation policy, the same change and refund policies, and the same deposit policies at a lower price online, before taxes and fees, we'll refund you the difference. Rate type refers to whether the hotel rate is prepaid at time of booking (“Pay Now”) or payable at check-in (“Pay Later”). Deposit policies refer to any advance payment required to secure the reservation. For prepaid reservations, your claim must be submitted prior to your stay, before the date of check-in. For verification of “pay later” hotel bookings, your claim must be submitted within thirty (30) days after you have completed the hotel stay, and the customer service representative may instruct you to mail a copy of your hotel receipt to American Express within that time period. American Express will honor the lower price for verified requests. The "Lowest Hotel Rates Guarantee" policy applies only to online rates available to the general public and excludes (1) rates or discounts that are not available to the general public, including, but not limited to, corporate, group, charter, meeting/convention, AAA, government/military, and senior citizen rates/discounts; or (2) hotel rooms booked through or in combination with frequent stay, loyalty, points, coupon promotions, rooms won through contests or sweepstakes or transferred, or rooms booked on opaque websites that do not allow you to see the name of the hotel until your reservation is complete; or (3) promotional packages, deals, all-inclusive packages, or bundles that may include additional amenities such as parking, meals, or entertainment, or (4) rates booked through the Fine Hotels + Resorts® and The Hotel Collection programs. To complete an Airbnb Luxe booking with Airbnb, made through AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™, the eligible Card Member must have an Airbnb account linked to their American Express online account. Prepaid bookings are referred to as "Pay Now" on AmexTravel.com and the Amex Travel App™. Bookings by both the Basic Card Member and any Additional Card Members on the Card Account are eligible for statement credits. However, the total amount of statement credits for eligible bookings will not exceed $600 per calendar year, per Card Account. Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Card Members are not eligible for the benefit. Eligible bookings do not include insurance fees, interest charges, cancellation fees, property fees or other similar fees, or any charges by a property to you (whether for your booking, your stay or otherwise).
Statement credits are typically received within a few days, however it may take 90 days after an eligible prepaid hotel or Airbnb Luxe booking is charged to the Card Account. Eligible bookings must be processed before June 30th, 11:59PM Central Time, to be eligible for statement credits within the January to June benefit period, and December 31st, 11:59PM Central Time to be eligible for statement credits within the July to December benefit period. American Express relies on the merchant’s processing of transactions to determine the transaction date. If there is a delay in the merchant submitting the transaction to us or if the merchant uses another date as the transaction date then your purchase may not earn the statement credit benefit for the benefit period in which you made the purchase. For example, if an eligible purchase is made on December 31st but the merchant processes the transaction such that it is identified to us as occurring on January 1st, then the statement credit available in the next calendar year benefit period will be applied, if available. If you have transferred to a different Card at the time the merchant submits the transaction, you may not receive the statement credit. Statement credit(s) may not be received or may be reversed if the transaction is refunded, cancelled, or modified. If the Card Account is cancelled or past due, it may not qualify to receive a statement credit. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as eligible, you will not receive the statement credits. For example, your transaction will not be eligible if it is: (i) made with a property not included in the Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection programs, (ii) made with an Airbnb property not included in the Airbnb Luxe program, (iii) not made through American Express Travel, or (iv) not made with an eligible Card. Participating properties and their availability are subject to change. If American Express, in its sole discretion, determines that you have engaged in or intend to engage in any manner of abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this benefit, American Express will not have an obligation to provide and may reverse any statement credits provided to you. If a charge for an eligible purchase is included in a Pay Over Time balance on your Card Account, the statement credit associated with that charge may not be applied to that Pay Over Time balance. Instead, the statement credit may be applied to your Pay In Full balance. For additional information, call the number on the back of your Card. Please refer to AmericanExpress.com/FHR and AmericanExpress.com/HC for more information about Fine Hotels + Resorts and The Hotel Collection, respectively.

For example, your transaction will not be eligible if it is: (i) made with a property not included in the Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection programs, (ii) made with an Airbnb property not included in the Airbnb Luxe program, (iii) made outside of American Express Travel, or (iv) made with an ineligible Card. Participating properties and their availability are subject to change. If American Express, in its sole discretion, determines that you have engaged in or intend to engage in any manner of abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this benefit, American Express will not have an obligation to provide, and may reverse, any statement credits provided to you. 5x: Basic Card Members will earn 4 additional points (for a total of 5 Membership Rewards points or 5x points) for each dollar charged for eligible air and lodging bookings on any Card on the Account (“Additional Points”), minus cancellations and credits. Eligible air and lodging bookings are limited to: (i) air tickets on scheduled flights, of up to $500,000 in charges per calendar year, booked directly with passenger airlines or through American Express Travel (through AmexTravel.com, the Amex Travel App™, or by calling the phone number on the back of the eligible Card); (ii) prepaid hotel reservations booked through American Express Travel (through AmexTravel.com, the Amex Travel App™, or by calling the phone number on the back of the eligible Card) ; and (iii) prepaid short-term rental reservations booked with Airbnb through AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™. To complete a short-term rental reservation with Airbnb through AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™, the eligible Card Member must have an Airbnb account linked to their American Express online account. Eligible air and lodging bookings do not include: charter flights, private jet flights, flights that are part of tours, cruises, or travel packages, ticketing or similar service fees, ticket cancellation or change fees, property fees or similar fees, hotel group reservations or events, insurance fees, interest charges, or purchases of cash equivalents. Eligible prepaid hotel bookings that are modified directly with the hotel will not be eligible for Additional Points. Additional fees and purchases associated with your prepaid short-term rental booking will not be eligible for Additional Points (for example: Pool heating fees, Pet fees).

Please allow up to 12 weeks after the qualifying purchase is charged to your Card Account for Membership Rewards points to be posted to the account.
To be eligible for this benefit, the Card Account must not be cancelled or past due at the time of additional point fulfillment. If American Express, in its sole discretion, determines that you have engaged in or intend to engage in any manner of abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this benefit in any way American Express may remove access to this benefit from the Account. For additional information, call the number on the back of the Card or visit americanexpress.com/rewards-info for more information about rewards.

Benefits cannot be redeemed for cash and are not combinable with other offers unless indicated. Benefits must be used during the stay booked. Insider Fares are fares for which less Membership Rewards points are required to purchase the flight. The entire amount of the purchase must be covered using Membership Rewards points. Insider Fares are only available on select flights. When purchasing an Insider Fare, the dollar amount of the fare will be charged to the Card Member’s account and a credit will be issued in that dollar amount on the Card Member’s statement; additionally, the number of Membership Rewards points required for the fare will be deducted from the Card Member’s Membership Rewards account balance. Participating airlines and benefits are subject to change. For more information about the Membership Rewards program visit www.membershiprewards.com/terms.

Amex Travel Online Flight Statement Credit
Basic Card Members on a U.S. Business Platinum Card Account (“Card Account”) who make $250,000 in eligible purchases in a calendar year (“$250,000 Purchase Requirement”) are eligible to receive up to $1,200 in Amex Travel Online Flight Statement Credits in the following calendar year after they use their Card Account to pay for eligible flights booked on Amextravel.com or the Amex Travel App™ between January 1 and December 31 of the following calendar year (“Active Credit Window”). Card Members must charge the flight(s) to the Business Platinum Card Account that has met the $250,000 Purchase Requirement (“Qualified Card Account”) to be eligible for the statement credits. Any prepaid airline or cabin class is eligible for the statement credits. The total amount of statement credits for eligible flight purchases will not exceed $1,200 per calendar year, per Qualified Card Account. Enrollment is not required. Eligible purchases made by Card Members starting January 1, 2025, will count toward the $250,000 Purchase Requirement for the 2025 calendar year.
Eligible purchases to meet the $250,000 Purchase Requirement are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, cash advances, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person payments, or other cash equivalents. If a Card Member upgrades or downgrades from a different American Express Card to a Business Platinum Card, eligible purchases made on their previous Card during the current calendar year will count toward meeting the $250,000 Purchase Requirement on the new Business Platinum Card. Eligible purchases made by any Employee Card Members on the Business Platinum Account will contribute to the $250,000 Purchase Requirement. Basic Card Members can track their progress towards the current year $250,000 Purchase Requirement in the Benefits tab of their online Card Account and in the American Express App. Card Members will unlock both the $1,200 Amex Travel Online Flight Statement Credit and the $2,400 American Express One AP® Credit by satisfying the $250,000 Purchase Requirement a single time in a calendar year.
Statement credits are typically reflected on your Card Account within a few days of the corresponding charge posting, however it may take up to 90 days after an eligible purchase is charged to the Card Account for the statement credits to be reflected on your Card Account. American Express relies on the merchant's processing of transactions to determine the transaction date. The transaction date may differ from the date you made the purchase if, for example, there is a delay in the merchant submitting the transaction to us or if the merchant uses another date as the transaction date. This means purchases made too close to the close of the year may not be dated within the Active Credit Window. For example, if an eligible purchase is made on December 31, but the merchant processes the transaction such that it is identified to us as occurring on January 1, then your statement credit will not be applied to that Active Credit Window. Statement credits may not be received or may be reversed if the booking is cancelled or modified. If the Card Account is cancelled or past due, it may not qualify to receive a statement credit. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as eligible, you will not receive the statement credits. For example, your transaction will not be eligible if it is a booking: (i) made directly with the airline, (ii) not made through American Express Travel online, or (iii) not made with the Qualified Card Account. Eligible travel purchases include scheduled flights made online on AmexTravel.com or in the Amex Travel App, minus returns and other credits. Incidental fees paid directly to the airline (such as refreshment charges paid not on Amextravel.com) will not be credited back.
2X Membership Reward Points Earn for Cruises
2x Membership Rewards® points on Cruise Bookings: U.S. Consumer and Business Platinum and Centurion® Card Members enrolled in the Membership Rewards program will receive one (1) additional Membership Rewards® point per dollar spent on eligible cruise bookings. Eligible cruise bookings include new cruise bookings charged directly to your eligible Card through AmexTravel.com or by calling the number on the back of your Card, minus returns and other credits. Any charges on your eligible Card made outside of American Express Travel will not qualify for additional points, including installments or other payments made directly to a cruise line. Airfare and other charges incurred as part of your cruise booking made through American Express Travel are eligible for additional points. Other charges made directly with the travel supplier will be bonused in accordance with the terms and conditions of your eligible Card product. If cruise bookings are made or modified directly with the cruise provider, the booking will not be eligible for additional points. If the booking is cancelled, the additional points will be deducted from the applicable Membership Rewards account. Any additional points received will be reflected in your Membership Rewards account 10-12 weeks after payment is made. Your eligible Card Account(s) must not be cancelled, past due, or otherwise suspended at the time of fulfillment to receive any additional points.

Participating suppliers and PDV benefits are subject to change. Benefits cannot be combined with other offers unless indicated. PDV bookings must be made and paid for using the eligible Card and eligible Card Member must be traveling on the itinerary booked. Any charges on your eligible Card made outside of American Express Travel® will not qualify for additional points, including installments or other payments made directly to a participating supplier. PDV-eligible Card Members that are Membership Rewards program-enrolled will receive one (1) extra Membership Reward® point per eligible dollar spent on PDV bookings; separate airfare and other charges associated with PDV bookings are not eligible. Extra points will be credited to the Card Member’s Membership Rewards account within 10-12 weeks after final payment is made. For more information visit membershiprewards.com/terms.

A minimum redemption of 5,000 points is required. To be eligible, the Business Platinum Card Account must not be cancelled at the time of benefit fulfillment.
